Our Story
We are the "double take" in DOUBLE sTAKE YARD PARTIES, identical twins, Donna Epley and Michelle Layne, are lifelong natives of the Western Branch area of Chesapeake, VA. We are best friends, living only a mile from one another. We've walked through life's special moments, events and occasions together... first steps, first day of school, proms, first job, college roommates, weddings, babies and everything in between! We always have fun together and are often the family's go-to for planning events. So, the only thing left for us to do together was to start our own business! We decided what better way to make people smile and have fun than DOUBLE STAKE YARD PARTIES, a lawn greeting rental company. We rent yard signs for any occasion, (birthdays, retirement, engagements, graduations, gender reveals, welcome baby, welcome home, and so much more. We can't wait to share in your special moments. Our Grad displays include Congrats with name and graduation flair. Congratulations signs include balloons, streamers and name. We need a minimum of 2 weeks notice for custom grad signs

Life of the Party!
Create Your own yard party! Have an idea, our team will be happy to help you design the perfect yard card or sign for any event.
Can include highly customized greeting, keepsake photos, themed accents, and an array of flair. Ex: Grand Openings, Reveals, Family Reunions, Proposals, Field Dedications, 100th Day of School, Welcome Back, Welcome Home, Bridal Events, Festivals, Memorials etc. Booking at least 3-4 weeks in advance recommended. Price based on size and customization.
Santa's Nice List
Santa's Elves will be in town to surprise children who have been on the nice list with a festive display from the North Pole. Each display comes with a personalized certificate from Santa.

What's New
Beginning June 15th, 2024 through September we will not be installing signs on Saturdays or Sunday mornings. We will be offering the option to have signs installed Friday evening and left up for 2 days at no extra cost. Thank you for your understanding!
